Coronavirus Handling and Procedure Plan with Kool Kidz LLC
At Kool Kidz we are monitoring and carefully watching how the State, Utah Health and Davis Health Departments, Davis school district, and CDC are handling the coronavirus. At our school we take extra precautions to help keep our students safe. We want you to be aware of the extra efforts we will be taking to insure our school is preventing diseases as much as possible.
MASK WEARING: In following current health and safety guidelines and in observance of the mask mandate, all children 3 and up are required to wear a mask while in the building. All staff also will wear masks. We ask that parents wear masks coming to and from their cars during drop-off and pick-up.
HAND WASHING: We will be washing hands as soon as the students enter school, in between each transition, and before and after eating. We will have hand sanitizer readily available for our students as well. We disinfect all handles, light switches, desks, bathrooms, toys, and more at least twice a day.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: We do ask that any sick students please stay home. Also, if anyone in your household currently has Covid-19 or is being tested for Covid please keep your child at home. Every child you enters must pass the health assessment and temperature screening as per State Guidelines.
We want to encourage all families to review proper hand cleaning with your children and to talk to them about the importance of not putting items in the mouth, not touching their faces or mouths, covering their coughs and sneezes in their elbows (like a vampire), and washing hands frequently.
We will follow Davis School District and their procedures for closing and staying open. If they choose to close for two weeks or more, we will follow the same procedure.
We will continue to communicate with our families with any updates and information as this situation progresses. Thanks for your support as we work to keep our students and staff healthy.
