Sam and Cindi Buckley
Owners & Founders
Sam and Cindi Buckley had a vision of what early childhood education and childcare should be and they decided to share that vision with the world. Cindi started with an in-home preschool and daycare in 2002. It wasn't long before she needed more space to accommodate the waiting lists as her dream quickly blossomed into a full grown preschool just up the street from where we are now located. So in 2014, new location and all, they established Kool Kidz LLC and started to take on more teachers as their preschool grew.
Cindi knew that what she and Sam had started could bless more families and children than just those preparing for Kindergarten, so she began to look for ways to get back into the world of childcare. In May of 2019 they purchased a daycare center, bringing their passion for learning and compassion back into the world of childcare. The atmosphere of preschool and childcare blends well. That's how Kool Kidz Adventure Academy was born. From there, a culture and brand has grown to be a company that feels more like a family community than a business.
Christy
Director
Christy or “Chrissy” has worked in childcare for 20 years. She is our awesome Director here at Kool Kidz. She is most drawn to working with children “knowing I will make a difference in young minds and the co-workers I work with.” Other than being a stay at home grandma, she feels she is currently doing her dream job right now. She says “I feel everyone inspires me in some way” and uses that perspective to bring out the best in us all.
Jessica
Assistant Director
Jessica or “Jess” brings over 17 years of childcare experience into our center and is our Assistant Director. She loves all things Lilo & Stitch and has quite the collection of memorabilia. Her dream job is to be a teacher, which she technically is. Jessica is drawn to this profession because “I love to teach and watch as they learn something new.” She most especially enjoys “the pure love and care that children have” which definitely is present in childcare.
Christine
Assistant Director
Christine comes to us with 20 years of experience working with children in childcare both in teaching and in administration. She completed her Child Development Associate in 2024 and her National Administration Credential in 2025. She feels that success looks like "accomplishing goals I set for myself both at work and at home." Christine has 3 kids and many pets. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking trips, reading inspiring books and playing the piano. She will be continuing the music curriculum here at Kool Kidz. She loves working with children because she feels it is a great opportunity to make a difference in a childs life
Emily
Ms. Emily boasts 7 years of experience in the childcare setting. She started out in our Ocean room teacher then went on to be an Assistant Director and is now our Program Manager. She has earned her CDA (Child Development Associates) and encourages each and everyone of our teachers to receive their own. When Emily is not working you can probably catch her reading a book or watching a true crime documentary. If you were to ask Emily what her party trick would be, it would be "being about to tell you the episode name, episode number and season of every Criminal Minds episode". Everybody has a comfort show that they can quote and that one is hers!

Cameron
Behavior Specialist
Cameron or Cam has been with us for 2 years now. He recently returned from a two year mission in Wisconsin for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. He loves sports (Especially anything BYU), Music, working out, and movies. He Is in the process of getting His Child's Development Associates along with a degree in business management. He chose this profession because it gives him the opportunity to teach the kids and help them prepare for happy and successful lives.

Sara
Sara has been with us for 4 years. She has worked in all our age groups and has worked her way up to running our Academic Preschool and being over our Food Program. When not at work she is chasing around her 2 little boys and/or eating Chick-Fil-A! She is always up for any type of water activities: swimming, boating, tubing, you name it she'll be there! Sara comes to work each day ready to help every child reach their full potential and comes in with a warming smile on her face!

Head Cook
Dawn has been with us for 3 years now. Dawn has an affinity for working hard to make the best of every situation. She's most proud of “turning all my hardships into fuel for positive change” and brings that kind of motivation with her to the workplace. She loves the “positive atmosphere, connection and loving people” side of childcare. She takes the time to get to know each child. She is our loving cook and shares her passion with us all on a daily basis.

Candace
Rainbow Room
Candace says her “love for kids and getting to watch them learn and grow” is why she knew that this was her dream job. Candace has been with us 4 years. She feels inspired by her own children because they push her to be a better mom and person. She can be found enjoying a coke and Hawaiian pizza while watching a Disney movie. If you walk by her classroom you will see her dancing with the children as they learn together. She is currently CDA Certified.
Dallas
Dallas has been in childcare for under a year but she jumped in with the older toddlers and loved watching the kids grow. As a mother herself she takes passion in teaching and supporting kids as they hit their milestones. She loves her family, traveling and photography.

Dr. Seuss
Burgandy is a mom of 3 and enjoys spending time as a family in the outdoors. She is big into fitness and loves spending time in the gym. All of her work experience has involved kids. She spent some time teaching English to children who lived in China via the internet. She loves watching the kids grow and become their own people while helping them reach their developmental milestones.
Jill
Dr. Seuss
Jill loves art and enjoys encouraging creativity in the classroom. She loves going thrifting so if you need a thrifting pal, she's your gal! Jill describes herself as "pretty quiet until I actually know people." Though she is quiet, she has a way with getting to know the children in her class and taking the time to listen and build them up. This is natural because her love language is quality time and that makes her a great fit here at Kool Kidz.

Jasmine
Jasmine is our School Age teacher and our floater during the day while the older kiddos are in school. She’s been in childcare for 4 years now. Jasmine has a passion to be a nurse but for now is loving to teach her kids. She loves line dancing and anything pink along with having a great sense of sarcasm, and is always a hot mess express. She is now a new mom to a cute little boy!

Tina
Academic Preschool Teacher
Tina brings over 12 years experience as a preschool teacher. She felt drawn initially to teaching preschool because "I love the ah-hah of kids figuring it out and watching/helping them learn." She's worked with children and adults with a variety of special needs and brings that insight into the classroom on a daily basis. "I feel like I make a positive difference in the world." She says she's doing her dream job of teaching. We're so lucky to have her!
